    Fundraiser Save the Date! Tuesday, September 12th, 2023 Fun Run The Fun Run will take place during school hours on Tuesday, September 12th. Each student has a goal to collect at least $20 in Fun Run donations. Fun Run donations can be turned in via Fun Run envelope or in our online PTA Memberhub store anytime between the 1st Day of School and Friday, September 15th (the Friday after the Fun Run). Fun Run Prizes: Each student will receive a Mustang Money Dollar for participating in the Fun Run. Students will get an extra Mustang Money Dollar for each $5 they collect in donations. If they meet their $20 Fun Run donation goal, they will get a bonus Mustang Money Dollar. Mustang Money Dollars will be able to be spent in the student store. Make a Fun Run Donation (Available August 1st - September 15th, 2023) Carnival The carnival will take place on Tuesday, September 12th from 4:30-7:30pm. The carnival will include inflatables, rock walls, and a train. An unlimited wristband can be purchased that will give kids unlimited access to these attractions during the event. A wristband pre-sale of $15 will be available until Friday, September 1st. You can purchase wristbands using the envelope provided in the PTA Back to School Packet or in our online PTA MemberHub store. After Friday, September 2nd, you can purchase the Unlimited Wristbands online or in person at the carnival for $18 each. The Silent Auction will take place IN PERSON at the carnival on Tuesday, September 12th from 4:30-6:30pm. The Silent Auction will end promptly at 6:30pm and checkout will be from 6:30-7:30pm. The Silent Auction will have a collection of donations from local businesses. Food Trucks A variety of Food Trucks will be available at the Carnival from 4:30-7:30pm. Some tables and chairs will be available for those eating at the food trucks. You are welcome to bring your own blanket or chairs if you would like. Purpose of Annual Fundraiser Our Annual Fundraiser is our one opportunity each year to raise funds to cover all the programs, events, volunteers and supplies we need for the school year. The PTA provides funds to the school for Field Trips, 6th Grade and Kinder Celebrations, provides the Battle of the Books, and Reflections programs, provides teachers dinner during Parent - Teacher Conferences, and a Back to School lunch. The PTA also facilitates the Room Parents program, assists with volunteers for school pictures, hearing & vision screenings, and Principal's Pride assemblies. The PTA helps supply Spirit & Kindness wear & yearbooks to families. It provides Dudes & Donuts, Moms & Muffins & Good Morning Grandparents free of charge to the school & its families. It also provides Green, Red, and White Ribbon weeks, monthly newsletters, Book Fairs, and the Angel Tree & Day of Service opportunities that help serve the school and Foothills families. Purchase Wristbands Wristbands Include: Unlimited Bounce Houses, Rock Wall & Train for Kids ​ $15 Wristband Pre-sale : Until September 1st, 2023 -Cash or Check in Envelope -Card on Givebacks (MemberHub) ​ $18 Wristband: September 2nd-12th -Card on Givebacks (MemberHub) In Person Night of Event -Cash, Check or Card ​ *Wristbands are not required to attend this event, only if you want unlimited access to the bounce houses, rock wall and train. Battle of the Books (B.O.B.) is a program for 3rd-6th graders. ​ Think Spelling Bee Competition, but for books! ​ Students have a list of 20 books to read throughout the school year and participate in Book Battles in the Spring. Where do I start? You can sign up to join B.O.B. anytime between the beginning of the school year and October 31st, 2023. ​ Click below to sign up. How does it work? Those who sign up AND read/log at least 5 books from the B.O.B. lists by December 1st, 2023 will be placed on a B.O.B. team and be able to participate in the battles that take place in the spring. Those who sign up and read/log less than 5 books can still read, and earn buttons, but will be ineligible to compete in the battles. What happens at the competition? Student teams will be asked questions about the books and earn points each time they correctly answer a question with the corresponding book title and author. ​ The teams will move on in a Tournament that will end in a Final Book Battle Tournament that will take place in front of their peers . There will be one Battle of the Books Finalist Champion Team for each of the 3rd/4th and 5th/6th grade team groups. Grizzlies Spirit Night Thank you to everyone who supported our Spirit Night with the Utah Grizzlies on March 9, 2024! Not only was it so much fun, but it was our most successful Spirit Night to date, bringing in just under $1000!

    MEMORY BOOK Hey there, Mustangs! Time to corral those memories into one incredible keepsake with this year’s “Everything is Awesome” Memory Book! The order window is now closed. For those who ordered a memory book, they will be distributed prior to dismissal of school for the summer. If you did not order a yearbook and would like one, there will be a limited number of copies available in the school office on a first come, first served basis.
